Biswabat at Jhenaidah is claimed as ‘the Largest Banyan Tree in Asia’

The over-the-top born beaut on huge diachronic conditions came actually an avid itinerant aim. Bring down them & assure them yourself. It is the largest Banyan Tree of Asia.

Getting around:

The term is that the great tree will give you lots of pleasure when you will be under the stress of sun. The big things that are there in the trees will also make you feel lot better in watching. The extraordinary natural beauty just beside it also a thing to watch. It is mainly in the bank side of a river. The breeze makes the tree even more beautiful to watch.

The fine color is also a thing to watch. During summer, local people arrange a fair under the Banyan tree. The area is so beautiful that this untraditional space is known to people of whole northern region of the country. The large tree attracts all the nature loving persons. I am sure you will enjoy the extreme beauty of it.

Getting in:

Jhenaidah is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Khulna Division. On the northern it borders the Kushtia District on the north, to the south by Jessore District and West Bengal, to the east by Rajbari District and Magura District and to the west by Chuadanga District and West Bengal (India) on the west.

If you want to go there from Dhaka then you have to go through bus or by plane. If you want to go there by plane then you have to land on Jessore which is just some distance away from Jhenaidah. Then you can make a short trip to reach the place. But if you want to go there by bus then you can make a trip of 5 & half hours to reach the place.

The journey will not be hard at all as the roads construction is very good. Not only that if you want to go there from Rajshahi or Khulna then also you can take bus & go there easily. After reaching there you have to make a short trip to reach the place as it is not very near to the main town.

As this is one of the most touring places of the district so there have been many hotels in the area. So you don’t have to work so hard to get a hotel. The hotel management is very good here. You can get different types of hotels here. If you want less priced hotel then you will get it & if you want good hotels then there is also no problem. Some of the hotels’ names are included here-
Hotel Moti at in front of railway station
Hotel Gondoraj at Main road

The food management is also very good. You can get different types of food items there. It won’t be a great problem to find a suitable restaurant for you to eat. The foods are also very delicious. You can get foods also from the resident hotel where you are staying. I think to taste different food items of different restaurant will be a good idea. I am telling from my prospective view that you will enjoy the food.

The transportation medium in the town is Rickshaw. You can also get van there. The quantity of this type of transportation medium is high in the city. So you don’t have to wait to get that. The rent of them is also not that high so with cheap rate you can travel a bit.

The area will give you a lot of pleasure. You will not feel to leave the city. Believe me it will remove the monotonous type of life & will give you a fresh life. So I think it will good not to delay & make a trip there as soon as possible & make you feel lot better than you were feeling before visiting the place.

Chittagong Naval beach: beauty of a river meeting the sea

Want to enjoy the beauty of a river meeting the sea? The port city Naval beach is a must visit! Chittagong hosts many naturally beautiful places, but the Naval Beach is a stand out which is not talked of very often.

The Naval Beach is not that much popular as it is not considered as traditional travel destinations such as sea beaches, mountains or waterfalls. But trust me; you would not be able to deny its beauty having seen it!

I would recommend starting the journey, which should not take more than 40 minutes from city center, in the afternoon so it is late afternoon when you reach there. The journey itself would become a pleasure as the road runs along the river and wonderful riverside sceneries!  Suddenly you might find yourself lost into the vastness of the sea when the road takes a steep turn and the riverbanks seem to vanish into the near horizon. You would not be able to praise the sunset here but you will certainly enjoy the river and sea glowing red!

The whole thing gets a whole lot better as the night falls. The twilight created by the lights coming from the docked or mid-river ships is sure to give you an unearthly feeling! The cool sea air into your hair would give you somewhat heavenly experience. It is hard to keep track of time and you will only realize that it is getting late when your stomach starts to growl in hunger. Not to worry, you could satisfy it with some mouthwatering food from restaurants nearby!

The good thing about visiting Chittagong Naval beach is that you can visit some other beautiful places like Potenga

Beach, Foy’s Lake, Vatiari Eco park, hilltop canteen etc. Going to naval beach from Chittagong main city can be easier. You could take a bus, train or even airplane if you wish to! If you don’t have your own ride, you could take a CNG; the fair is not more than 100 tk. There are many hotels in Chittagong where you can stay for the duration of your visit. The city, specially the naval beach is safer than any part of this country even late into the night, so security is not a headache. It would be better not to plan the travel on a Friday as too much crowd is likely to ruin your holyday.

So do not waste another vacation! Go out there and enjoy whatever the Port city Chittagong has to offer and I am telling you, your vacation is not long enough to take all of it!
